Become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and follow the Instructor Development Course (AI and OWSI)
The PADI Instructor Development Course is your final step to become a PADI Instructor. You will have the chance to do things that others can only dream about. During the IDC (AI and OWSI), you’ll learn to use and adapt the PADI System of diver education to individual student needs. Comprehensive training, supported by a wide variety of PADI educational materials, earns PADI Instructors respect. PADI Instructors are recognized to be well trained employees, so your career of a lifetime is just around the corner! The IDC takes 9 days (4 for AI and 5 for OWSI).

What can PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors do?
• Teach Discover Scuba Diving till PADI Dive Master Course
• Teach the PADI PPB Specialty and the Project AWARE Specialty
• Teach the Emergency First Response Course

Prerequisites
• Be at least 18 years old and be certified as a PADI Divemaster or be an Instructor from a recognized training organization
• Have a medical clearance, signed by a physician, not older than 12 months
• Show proof of min.60 logged dives, incl. night, deep, and navigation dives and be certified at least 6 months (prior to entering the PADI IE you must have at least 100 logged dives).
• Be an EFR- with Care for Children Instructor.

Preparation for the PADI IDC in Sharm el Sheikh – Red Sea
The PADI IDC is a very intensive course, which prepares you for the Instructor Examination (IE). We now that participants have problems when they arrive with insufficient preparation.
